Anri Bakery Celebrates 11th Anniversary with Expansion and Co-Creation Strategy
Osaka-born Anri Bakery marks 11 years in business by expanding its footprint to eight locations and launching a new partnership model to elevate Thai ingredients.
According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the premium Japanese bakery brand Anri Bakery is celebrating its 11th anniversary. Since its 2015 debut at Isetan CentralWorld, the brand has grown from a popular shop known for its signature Aomori apple pies—made with Sun Tsugaru and Fuji apples—into a regional presence with eight locations across Thailand and Singapore.
To mark this milestone, the company is shifting its focus toward a 'Co-Creation' business model. This strategy involves collaborating with local Thai producers and strategic partners to integrate Japanese pastry techniques with high-quality Thai ingredients. The goal is to develop premium, health-conscious food innovations that can compete in international markets. The brand currently operates its first flagship 'Anri Cafe' at CentralWorld, alongside locations in Siam Paragon, The Emporium, and One Bangkok.
For residents and travelers, this expansion increases the availability of the brand’s signature baked goods in major shopping hubs. While the company has announced its commitment to this new collaborative model, specific details regarding which local producers will be involved or the exact timeline for the launch of these new co-created product lines remain to be confirmed.
