According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, the family of the late travel YouTuber Baworntat Pengsuk, widely known as 'Hlun Solo,' has successfully obtained his official death certificate from Georgian authorities. The influencer had previously gone missing while filming content in Georgia, with his body discovered in a hotel room in mid-July 2026. Following his repatriation to Thailand for religious rites, the family has been working to finalize the necessary administrative procedures.
On August 26, 2026, the victim's brother, posting under the Facebook account 'Klose Mos,' announced that while the original death certificate has been received, it is issued in a foreign language without accompanying Thai or English translations. Consequently, the family is currently unable to complete the required legal processes within Thailand. The family has consulted with the Thai Embassy regarding the matter; however, they were informed that the responsibility for arranging the translation and certification of the document lies with them. The family is now seeking guidance from experts or relevant agencies to navigate these bureaucratic requirements. This situation highlights the complex administrative challenges that can arise for families when dealing with international fatalities, particularly regarding the translation and official recognition of foreign legal documents.
