Spanish Chef Unveils Massive 500kg Wedding Cake for Saudi Royal Nuptials

According to a report by Khaosod Online, Spanish pastry chef Marc Suárez has garnered international attention for his latest creation: a massive wedding cake commissioned for a Saudi royal wedding. The structure stands 3.5 meters tall and 1.8 meters wide, weighing a total of 500 kilograms.

Suárez, known for his intricate pastry work, spent approximately 1.5 months on the conceptual design followed by four months of construction. Due to the project's scale, he collaborated with fellow pastry chefs and family members to complete the work. A significant portion of the labor involved crafting 33,000 individual sugar flower petals, which were shaped, painted, and assembled by hand. In total, the project required 1,800 hours of labor.
