Viral Roti Stall Gains Popularity in Ubon Ratchathani

A young vendor in Ubon Ratchathani has seen a surge in business after taking over her family's traditional roti stall.

According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand on September 6, 2026, a roti stall at the Santisuk 2 Market in Ubon Ratchathani has become a local sensation. The stall is operated by 22-year-old Nicharee Talodpong, who took over the family business approximately three to four months ago.

The stall has gained significant attention on social media platforms, including TikTok and Facebook, drawing a diverse crowd of customers. Nicharee reports selling at least 260 pieces of roti daily. The menu features traditional favorites, such as plain roti for 10 baht, crispy roti for 30 baht per box, and the popular egg-filled roti priced at 25 baht.

For travelers or residents visiting the Rai Noi sub-district, this stall offers a glimpse into a local culinary tradition that has been passed down through generations. The shop's popularity is attributed to both the quality of the crispy dough and the engaging atmosphere created by the vendor. While the stall is currently experiencing high demand and long queues, potential visitors should note that wait times may vary depending on the time of day. It remains to be seen how the stall will manage the sustained influx of customers as its social media presence continues to grow.
