GRAND Bondholders Approve Debt Restructuring Measures
Bondholders of GRAND264A have voted to approve a debt relief plan, including interest payment deferrals and the removal of specific financial covenants.
According to a report by Prachachat Business, holders of the GRAND264A bond have officially approved three key resolutions aimed at restructuring the company's debt obligations. The agreement includes a deferral of interest payments totaling 29.88 million baht, which will now be extended until the end of 2026. Furthermore, the bondholders have agreed to a revised payment structure for 2027, which involves a 4% cash payment while deferring the remaining 3.4% per annum. In addition to these financial adjustments, the creditors have granted a waiver regarding previous default events and have officially removed the requirement for the company to maintain specific net debt-to-equity ratios. For residents and investors in Thailand, this decision provides the company with temporary financial breathing room, potentially stabilizing its immediate operations. However, the long-term impact on the company's financial health remains to be seen as it navigates these adjusted repayment terms. Stakeholders are advised to monitor official company disclosures for further updates regarding the implementation of these measures and any subsequent financial reports.
