Concerns Raised Over Unfilled Electrical Engineer Positions at Provincial Electricity Authority

According to a report by Khaosod Online, a 53-year-old woman from Buriram province is seeking answers regarding the status of 13 individuals who successfully passed the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) entrance exam for electrical engineer positions (level Ch.3) two years ago. Among those who passed is her 27-year-old son, who ranked fourth on the list.

The mother reports that her son has become increasingly distressed as the two-year validity period for the recruitment list nears its expiration. Despite his passion for the profession and his efforts to gain experience through part-time work at the PEA’s Prakhon Chai district office, he has not been called for an interview or formal employment. The family is questioning the necessity of the recruitment process if the successful candidates are not ultimately hired.
