Bangkok Airways is waiving change fees for passengers affected by recent flooding in Bangkok and its surrounding areas between September 25 and 27, 2026.
According to a report by Khaosod Online, Bangkok Airways has introduced relief measures for passengers unable to reach Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang airports due to heavy rainfall and flooding in the Bangkok metropolitan region. For passengers scheduled to travel between September 25 and September 27, 2026, who are unable to reach the airport on time, the airline is offering two primary options. First, passengers may change their travel date on the same route once without incurring a change fee, provided there is seat availability and the new travel date is no later than October 10, 2026. Alternatively, passengers may opt to receive a travel voucher, which remains valid for one year from the date of issuance.
This policy is intended to assist those facing transit difficulties during the ongoing weather event.
