Police Officer in Songkhla Arrested Following Allegations of Coerced Filming
A police officer from Thung Lung Station has been arrested and suspended from duty following allegations of forcing women to film obscene content for sale.
According to a report by Khaosod Online on August 6, 2026, a police officer attached to the Thung Lung Police Station in Songkhla province has been arrested. The arrest follows a series of public allegations from over 20 victims who claim the officer coerced them into filming obscene content, which was subsequently posted for sale in private online groups.
The investigation gained momentum after an ex-girlfriend of the officer came forward, alleging that she had been forced into a two-year relationship under the threat of having private videos released. She claimed to have discovered numerous videos of various women on the officer’s mobile phone, including footage involving a child as young as four years old. She reported these findings to authorities on June 2, 2026.
In response to the mounting complaints, the Commander of Songkhla Provincial Police has ordered the officer’s suspension from government service. Following the issuance of an arrest warrant, the officer surrendered to authorities and is currently being processed for court detention on charges related to the possession of child pornography and other related offenses. For residents and visitors, this case highlights ongoing concerns regarding digital privacy and the abuse of authority.
