Proud Home Thai Cooking Class
Proud Home Thai Cooking Class is a family-run Thai cooking school on Koh Phangan, Surat Thani province, with more than seven years of teaching experience. Classes take place in an open-air kitchen and are held in small groups with one instructor per group.
Students cook every dish themselves, using fresh local ingredients and traditional Thai home-style recipes. The curriculum covers curry pastes made in the mortar, flavour balance, regional specialities, Thai desserts and local market visits, and vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free adaptations are available.
The school welcomes travellers, families and long-stay guests of all levels. It also offers 6- and 9-month weekly cooking programmes, with a certificate of completion, linked to Thailand's Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) soft power category.
