Kite Club Koh Phangan is a kitesurf and wing foil school and watersports center on Tong Sala Beach, Koh Phangan, open since 2021. Lessons take place in a shallow, flat-water lagoon protected by the reef, with a sandy bottom and standing depth over 100 metres, an ideal and safe setting for beginners. The school is IKO-certified for kitesurfing and IWO-certified for wing foiling, with instructors qualified at IKO Level 2 or higher.
Courses cover kitesurfing (from a 2-hour Discovery lesson at THB 3,500 to the 6-hour Beginner course at THB 11,000 and the 10-hour Independent course, IKO Level 3, at THB 18,000), wing foil lessons (from THB 3,500), windsurfing (from THB 4,000) and one-to-one e-foil sessions (from THB 2,000). All equipment (kite or wing, board, harness, helmet, impact vest), radio-helmet coaching and insurance are included. The center also offers equipment rental, storage next to the water for riders’ own gear, kayak and SUP rental, Kite Safari trips and Sunset Sessions, with a Wi-Fi zone, shower and chill-out area on the beach.
The main kite season runs from mid-January to April on the south-east trade winds, with a second window from June to October on the south-west monsoon; the school stays open all year and sessions follow the wind. Instruction is available in English, Russian, Arabic, German, Ukrainian and Thai. Booking by WhatsApp, usually answered within 30 minutes.
