Bangkok International Dental Hospital (BIDH) is a specialised dental hospital at 98 Sukhumvit Soi 2, Khlong Toei (Ploenchit area), Bangkok, a short walk from BTS Ploenchit and Nana. Run by Bangkok International Dental Hospital Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Dental Corporation PLC (listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand), it is one of the country’s first licensed specialised dental hospitals and belongs to a group that runs more than 15 dental clinics in Bangkok, Phuket and Chiang Mai.
The building was designed as a dental hospital from the start. It has an operating theatre, a post-anaesthesia care unit and in-patient rooms, a central sterile supply department designed around JCI standards, a digital smile studio, around 30 treatment rooms, an X-ray and 3D CT centre, an on-site dental laboratory with CAD/CAM milling, and a training centre with a 200-seat conference hall. Its dentists include many American board-certified specialists trained in the USA, the UK, Australia and Europe.
Services cover dental implants (single tooth to full mouth, one-day implants, bone grafts), cosmetic dentistry (veneers, crowns, Digital Smile Design, whitening, bonding), orthodontics (clear braces, Invisalign, self-ligating and lingual braces, jaw surgery), oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, general, paediatric and prosthodontic care. For anxious patients, sedation and general anaesthesia are provided by licensed anaesthesiologists under ASA protocols. The hospital offers cashless billing with selected insurers, corporate rates, nearby partner hotels and a free check-up and consultation.
