Chatchu-on Moksri Returns to Thailand Women’s Volleyball Team
Star outside hitter Chatchu-on Moksri has rejoined the national squad for the upcoming SEA V Cup in Chiang Mai following a six-month injury hiatus.
According to Khaosod Online, Chatchu-on Moksri, the prominent outside hitter currently playing for Victorina Himeji in Japan’s V.League, has been named to the Thailand women’s national volleyball team roster. This marks her return to international competition after a nearly six-month absence due to injury.
The team is preparing for the second leg of the 2026 BYD DMI 6th SEA V Cup, scheduled to take place in Chiang Mai from August 7 to 9. During the team's initial training session at the 700th Anniversary Chiang Mai Sports Complex, Chatchu-on noted that while her physical condition is nearing 100 percent, she is still in the process of readjusting to her teammates and the team's setters. She expressed optimism about her return, viewing herself as a potential asset to the squad's overall performance.
Head coach Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai stated that current training sessions are focused on refining the team's tactical systems. He noted that individual adjustments are ongoing and emphasized that he will conduct a final assessment of the players before confirming the official roster for the tournament.
