On August 5, 2026, a police officer named Pratak Tiemsai shared an account of a medical emergency that occurred at his station. A man, who had traveled from another province, entered the police station seeking medical help, mistakenly believing that doctors were available on-site. The individual reported consuming food two hours prior, followed by the onset of widespread itching, which he attempted to treat with antihistamines and calamine lotion without success.
Upon arrival at the station, the man exhibited symptoms including full-body redness, swelling, cold hands, dizziness, and a near-drowsy state. Recognizing that these symptoms could indicate anaphylaxis—a life-threatening allergic reaction—the officer immediately contacted emergency rescue services. Responders arrived to find the man’s blood oxygen levels at 93-94%.
