Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Phetchaburi Amid Heavy Rain

On the afternoon of August 4, 2026, a tragic traffic accident occurred at the Nong Sano intersection in Phetchaburi province, resulting in the death of an 18-year-old vocational student. According to reports from Khaosod Online, the incident took place at approximately 4:45 PM as the student was riding his motorcycle home from his college during heavy rainfall.

Local police, led by Pol. Lt. Col. Narong Phraibua, arrived at the scene to find the student’s body trapped under a white Toyota van. Preliminary accounts suggest that the motorcycle lost traction on the wet road surface, causing it to slide into the side of the van as it was turning at the intersection. The student was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was subsequently transported to Phra Chom Klao Hospital.
