Doi Saket Police Address Harassment Concerns at Doi Langka

On August 3, 2026, the Doi Saket Police Station in Chiang Mai province reported that they have located a man accused of harassing tourists at Doi Langka. The individual, identified as Mr. Kiattichai, had been posing as a local tour guide while frequently consuming alcohol.

Reports of the harassment surfaced after groups of tourists, particularly those consisting of women and teenagers, posted warnings online advising others to avoid the man and refrain from following him. Following these complaints, Police Colonel Supachai Jantra, Superintendent of Doi Saket Police, coordinated with local village leaders in Thep Sadet sub-district to address the situation.

Mr. Kiattichai was brought to the village hall, where he signed an agreement regarding his conduct and was subsequently sent for medical treatment. To prevent future incidents, the Doi Saket Police are now collaborating with the Thep Sadet Subdistrict Administrative Organization and community leaders to enhance safety measures for visitors.
