Road Rage Incident Involving Rare Mercedes-Benz Leads to Police Investigation

A road rage incident in the Phetkasem 69 area of Bangkok has escalated into a police investigation involving both parties. According to Khaosod Online, the conflict began when a motorcyclist pursued a Mercedes-Benz, eventually striking the vehicle and kicking its window. The vehicle involved is reported to be a rare model, with only 18 units of that specific color available in Thailand.

Following the initial incident, the female driver filed a report with the police. Subsequently, the motorcyclist also visited the Phetkasem Police Station to file a complaint, alleging that he was physically assaulted during the encounter. He claims to be able to identify his attacker, though he does not know the individual's name.

Pol. Col. Pramote Chanbunkaew, Superintendent of Phetkasem Police Station, confirmed that the motorcyclist has been sent for a medical examination to document his injuries. Investigators are currently reviewing CCTV footage to identify the alleged assailant and facilitate a mediation process between the two parties. For residents and travelers, this incident serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining composure on the road, as traffic disputes in Thailand can quickly escalate into legal matters.
