Python Discovered Inside SUV Console in Chai Nat

On July 30, 2026, a woman in her 40s experienced a frightening encounter at a shopping mall parking lot in Ban Kluay, Chai Nat. After completing her shopping, she discovered a python near her feet inside her SUV. She managed to exit the vehicle safely, but the snake retreated into the dashboard console.

Rescue volunteers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation and local disaster prevention officials arrived to assist. The extraction proved difficult, as the snake moved deeper into the vehicle's structure. Rescuers spent nearly an hour dismantling the dashboard console to reach the reptile, which was identified as a small python approximately 1.5 feet long. Once the snake was successfully captured and released back into the wild, the rescue team spent an additional 90 minutes reassembling the vehicle's interior to ensure it was safe for the owner to drive.
