According to Khaosod Online Thailand, an anime convention in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, recently became the center of a viral controversy after cosplayers began selling 'Feet Juice.' The activity involved participants soaking their bare feet in containers filled with water and lemon slices, which were then ladled into cups and sold to attendees for 50 yuan (approximately 250 baht) per serving.

Despite a sign at the booth stating the activity was for entertainment purposes only and not intended to promote inappropriate behavior, the spectacle drew large crowds and significant online backlash. The organizers eventually intervened, ordering the individuals involved to cease the activity and leave the premises. The stunt was reportedly inspired by a similar trend observed at an anime event in the United States this past May, where 'Fresh Feet Juice' was sold for prices ranging from $10 to $30.

For travelers and residents in the region, this incident highlights the unpredictable nature of viral trends at public fan gatherings.
