Fatal Motorcycle Collision During Asahna Bucha Holiday in Phrae

On July 30, 2026, a fatal traffic accident occurred on the Ban Suan Khuean–Mae Khaem road in Phrae province, Thailand. Authorities confirmed that a 52-year-old man, identified as Mr. Ekachai, died at the scene due to severe head trauma. Preliminary investigations suggest that the deceased had crossed into the opposing lane while allegedly under the influence of alcohol, subsequently colliding with the oncoming group of big bike tourists from Kamphaeng Phet province. In addition to the fatality, five other individuals sustained injuries, three of whom were reported to be in critical condition. All injured parties were transported to Phrae Hospital for emergency medical treatment.
