According to a report by Khaosod Online, three separate cases involving the deaths of foreign nationals in Tbilisi, Georgia, have sparked public concern regarding tourist safety. The victims, who were reported missing, all lost contact with their families for roughly two weeks before their bodies were discovered.

One of the cases involves a travel YouTuber known as Hlun Solo, who went missing for 16 days. His body was eventually found in a hotel in Tbilisi; reports suggest he may have been deceased for over 10 days prior to the discovery, with no initial notification provided to his family. Other incidents include an Indian medical student whose body was recovered from the Mtkvari River in late May 2026 after a two-week disappearance, and a Russian national who also lost contact with family in late July 2026.

These incidents have led to questions about the circumstances surrounding these deaths and the general safety environment for visitors in Georgia. Currently, there is no evidence to suggest that these three cases are linked. Authorities have not yet provided a definitive explanation for the lack of communication regarding the victims' conditions or the specific causes of death.
