Thai Government Promotes 'Made in Thailand' for Defense Industry

According to a report by Prachachat Business, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has announced a strategic initiative to encourage the Thai military to adopt a 'Made in Thailand' policy for its defense procurement. Government spokesperson Rachada Dhnadirek stated that the government aims to transition the nation from being a primary importer of defense equipment to becoming a developer and manufacturer of its own technology.
