Thai Farm-Gate Pork Prices Increase by 2 Baht per Kilogram

According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, a coalition of swine producer associations—including the National Swine Raisers Association and various regional trade groups—has officially increased the farm-gate price of live pigs by 2 baht per kilogram. This adjustment, which took effect on July 29, 2026, is attributed by the producers to rising operational costs and current market trends.

For residents and travellers in Thailand, this price adjustment at the farm level may eventually influence retail prices for pork products in local markets and supermarkets. The Northeastern region also saw a 2-baht increase from its previous base price.
