Counterfeit Cosmetics Warehouse Raided in Samut Prakan

On July 29, 2026, the Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECD) of the Thai police executed a search warrant at a four-story commercial building in the Thai Ban sub-district of Samut Prakan province. According to a report by Khaosod Online, the operation resulted in the seizure of more than 18,000 items of counterfeit and imitation cosmetics and personal care products, with an estimated market value of 2 million baht.

During the raid, officers apprehended a Chinese national identified as Mr. Weixin, who was present at the scene. The suspect claimed he was merely employed to pack the goods. The seized inventory reportedly includes over 70 different types of products that infringe upon registered trademarks within Thailand.
