According to reports from Khaosod Online, five individuals were injured in the blast, including a 44-year-old man, a 34-year-old woman, and two children aged two and four.
The homeowner reportedly admitted to creating the 'ping-pong bomb'—a type of improvised explosive device—to deter potential thieves. He claimed that he had forgotten to inform the workers living on the property about the device's presence, leading to the accidental detonation. Police, along with forensic experts and an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team, arrived at the scene to investigate the site, where they discovered plastic fragments and traces of blood.
