According to the report, specific areas identified in high-risk zones—marked by orange shading within blue frames—are expected to receive accumulated rainfall exceeding 300 millimeters during this three-day period. Experts noted that this level of precipitation is statistically rare, occurring with a probability of approximately 5%, or comparable to rainfall levels seen once every 20 years.

For residents and travelers in the Central region, particularly within the Chao Phraya and Tha Chin river basins, the Foundation provided reassurance that a catastrophic event similar to the 2011 mega-flood is not anticipated. This assessment is based on current data indicating that the volume of water flowing from the North is approximately 40% lower than levels recorded during the 2011 crisis.

While the risk of a major basin-wide flood is considered low, the Foundation emphasized that localized heavy rainfall remains a significant factor for potential disruption.
