According to a report by Khaosod Online, the life of Luang Pho Khan (Phra Athikan Khan Phutthayano), a former abbot of Wat Sa Tako in Ratchaburi’s Ban Pong district, remains a significant part of local cultural history. Born in 1866 in Photharam district, he was the fourth of ten children. He entered the monkhood in 1887 at Wat Ban Sing, where he studied under his father, who was also a monk.

Throughout his life, Luang Pho Khan was known for his dedication to meditation and his pursuit of spiritual knowledge. He frequently traveled on pilgrimages to study under various masters. In approximately 1907, he arrived at the peaceful area of Ban Sa Tako, where he chose to settle and practice.
