Born in 1899 in Ban Pong, he entered the monkhood in 1921. Throughout his life, he served as the abbot of three different temples in Ratchaburi and Kanchanaburi, stepping down from these positions immediately upon completing the construction projects requested by local communities. This behavior is cited by followers as evidence of his lack of attachment to titles or material wealth.

In his later years, Luang Pu In lived modestly in a small hut at the back of his temple, rarely leaving for public ceremonies. Despite this, he maintained a significant following. Devotees often attributed supernatural abilities to him, noting that he could perform blessings or consecrations with minimal effort, sometimes simply by observing from his quarters. Even when invited to distant ceremonies, he would often remain in his room, leading some to question the efficacy of his blessings until they witnessed the results firsthand.
