According to Khaosod Online Thailand, police and rescue teams from the Hook 31 Foundation recovered the body of a 54-year-old man, identified as Mr. Kla, who was found face-down in the water near a spillway.
The victim, a resident of Buriram province, was discovered wearing shorts with fishing equipment and a makeshift flotation device nearby. Investigators found no signs of physical trauma or struggle on the body. Authorities hypothesize that the man may have suffered from muscle cramps due to the cold, rainy weather while attempting to set fishing nets, rendering him unable to swim to safety.
