Thai Foundation Provides Flood Relief Aid to Nepal
The Princess Pa Foundation of the Thai Red Cross Society has donated 500,000 THB to support victims of severe flooding and landslides in Nepal.
On September 11, 2026, the Princess Pa Foundation (Friends in Need of Volunteers) of the Thai Red Cross Society officially delivered financial aid to the people of Nepal. The donation, totaling 500,000 THB, is intended to assist those affected by recent catastrophic flash floods and landslides in the country.
The ceremony took place at the Embassy of Nepal in Bangkok. Professor Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, representing the foundation’s board, presented the funds to H.E. Mr. Dhan Bahadur Oli, the Ambassador of Nepal to Thailand. The foundation operates under the initiative of HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati, who serves as the foundation's president, and HRH Princess Soamsawali, who serves as the honorary president for life.
For residents and travelers, this event highlights the ongoing humanitarian cooperation between Thailand and Nepal.
