Rayong Contractors Seek Government Intervention Over 61 Million Baht Unpaid Wages
A group of contractors has petitioned the Rayong Damrongtham Center, alleging that they have been waiting nearly three years for payments totaling over 61 million baht.
On September 10, 2026, representatives from a Rayong-based company, led by factory manager Thanik Thanasiriprasert, filed a formal complaint with the Rayong Damrongtham Center. The group, accompanied by over 20 employees, is seeking assistance regarding outstanding payments for construction projects located in Khon Kaen and Rayong provinces.
According to the complaint reported by Khaosod Online, the company entered into contracts in 2023 and began work shortly thereafter. The firm claims that despite 1,044 days passing since the first payment was due on November 1, 2023, they have yet to receive compensation for completed work, totaling approximately 61,140,000 baht. The company stated that they have made repeated attempts to collect the debt through formal letters and emails to the contracting party without success.
