According to a report by Prachachat Business, the Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning, in coordination with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, is proposing a new zoning framework for data centers in Thailand. Under the proposed guidelines, the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) is evaluating specific criteria regarding water and electricity consumption for data center businesses.
