The Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Public Health Office has launched an investigation following a viral social media video depicting a doctor expressing frustration over the inability to access patient X-ray files. According to the footage, the doctor was unable to review diagnostic images for patients, leading to significant delays in care. The post alleged that staff responsible for the system were unavailable, leaving patients waiting for hours.
Dr. Sutthipoj Chayanatthapong, the Provincial Public Health Chief, stated that he has consulted with hospital management regarding the incident. Preliminary reports suggest the hospital is currently transitioning to a new digital system intended to improve efficiency, which may have caused temporary data migration issues. Dr. Sutthipoj noted that while such transitions can be challenging, communication between staff and management should have prevented the public confrontation.

The hospital director is currently away on official business, but a committee has been appointed to conduct a formal fact-finding inquiry upon their return.
