Medical Emergency in Qinzhou: Man Hospitalized After Inserting Charging Cable

According to a report by Khaosod Online, a 49-year-old man in Qinzhou, Guangxi, China, was admitted to the First People's Hospital of Qinzhou following seven hours of severe abdominal pain and an inability to urinate. The patient sought medical intervention after the pain became unbearable and his lower abdomen became distended.

Upon conducting a 3D CT scan of the pelvic area, medical staff discovered an 80-centimeter-long charging cable, approximately 6 millimeters in diameter, coiled inside the patient's bladder. The object had caused a severe blockage of the urinary tract, preventing normal function. The patient reportedly admitted to inserting the cable out of curiosity. Surgeons performed an emergency operation lasting several hours to successfully remove the object. The patient has since recovered and been discharged from the hospital.
