A 25-year-old woman has sought assistance from Thailand's Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau after allegedly being harassed and threatened by an ex-partner who was released on bail.
On August 10, 2026, a 25-year-old woman, identified by the pseudonym 'Ms. A', visited the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB) in Muang Thong Thani to report ongoing harassment by her former boyfriend. Accompanied by Dr. Thanakrit Jitariratt, she alleged that despite previous legal actions, the suspect—who had been released on bail—continues to distribute private images of her on social media.
According to the report from Khaosod Online, the victim claims the suspect has escalated his behavior by sending threatening items to her home, including banana trees—often used as a symbol of death in local contexts—and funeral wreaths sent with cash-on-delivery requirements. Dr. Thanakrit urged authorities to investigate whether these new incidents constitute separate criminal offenses and to ensure the suspect is held accountable for the continued intimidation.
