Pathum Thani Hosts Annual Youth Swimming Championship
The Pathum Thani Provincial Sports Association held its 2026 swimming championship at Thammasat University to foster young talent and promote healthy lifestyles.
On August 8, 2026, the Pathum Thani Provincial Sports Association, in collaboration with the Pathum Thani Swimming Club, hosted the 2026 Provincial Swimming Championship at the Thammasat University Rangsit Campus swimming pool. According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the event was organized to inspire young athletes, develop their skills, and encourage students to engage in sports as a healthy alternative to drug use.
Mr. Passakorn Rangsiwattanasak, Secretary to the Minister of Tourism and Sports, presided over the medal and certificate presentation ceremony. The competition featured six age categories for both male and female participants, ranging from children under seven years old to those aged 14 and above. The event saw active participation from various clubs and schools across the province.
