Origin Property Announces 31.6 Billion Baht Investment Roadmap for Phuket

Origin Property has unveiled a three-year expansion plan in Phuket, targeting a total investment value of 31.6 billion baht to develop condominiums, pool villas, and hotels.

According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, Origin Property (OR) has announced a strategic three-year roadmap (2026–2028) to expand its real estate footprint in Phuket. Thanakorn Wutipong, CEO of International Business, stated that the company aims to capitalize on Phuket’s status as a premier global tourism destination and a preferred 'second home' location for international residents.

The investment plan, valued at approximately 31.6 billion baht, focuses on the development of condominiums, pool villas, and hotels to meet rising demand. The company noted that over the past three years, the Phuket condominium market has seen the addition of 6,000 new units. Data indicates that the primary buyers are foreign nationals, with Russian citizens leading the market, followed by Polish and Chinese investors. Additionally, the company has observed an emerging trend of increased interest from Indian buyers.

For travelers and residents, this expansion signals a significant increase in available high-end accommodation and residential options across the island. While the roadmap outlines the company's ambitious financial and development goals, specific project locations, construction timelines, and the exact breakdown of property types remain to be confirmed as the company progresses through its three-year investment cycle.
