Coastal conditions are also impacted; the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand are experiencing waves reaching heights of 2 to 3 meters. Authorities have advised small boats to refrain from leaving the shore during this period to ensure safety.
Regarding regional weather systems, the department clarified that Typhoon "Dolphin" is not expected to make landfall in Thailand.
