Thai Government Approves Compensation for Debsirin Nonthaburi School Shooting Victims

During a meeting at Government House, Paradorn Prissanananthakul, Minister to the Prime Minister's Office, chaired the Disaster Relief Fund Committee to finalize the financial assistance measures.

To determine the appropriate level of support, officials utilized precedents from four previous major incidents: the Terminal 21 Korat shooting, the Nong Bua Lamphu daycare center tragedy, the Siam Paragon shooting in Bangkok, and the shooting at Phatong Prathan Khiriwat School in Songkhla. The committee confirmed that the Disaster Relief Fund currently holds a balance of 254 million baht to facilitate these payments.
