Authorities have discovered digital evidence linked to a student who allegedly killed his grandparents before carrying out a shooting at Debsirin Nonthaburi School.
On August 7, 2026, police in Nonthaburi province responded to a residence in Bang Bua Thong district, where they discovered the bodies of a 73-year-old man and a 74-year-old woman. According to Khaosod Online, the victims were the grandparents of a Grade 9 student who had previously been identified as the perpetrator of a shooting incident at Debsirin Nonthaburi School.
Investigators believe the student used his grandfather’s 9mm handgun to kill the couple in their home during the early morning hours before traveling to the school to continue the attack, which resulted in multiple casualties. During a search of the residence, police recovered a desktop computer containing information that the student had been accessing since July 30.
