Prime Minister Anutin Denies Allegations Regarding Local Government Exam Irregularities
Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has dismissed claims by opposition MP Rangsiman Rome linking him to corruption in local government recruitment exams.
On August 7, 2026, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul addressed allegations made by Rangsiman Rome, a People's Party MP and chair of the House Committee on Law, Justice, and Human Rights. Mr. Rome had suggested that the Prime Minister was involved in corruption related to local government entrance examinations, specifically alleging interference in the selection of the Terms of Reference (TOR) and the exclusion of Burapha University from the process.
