On August 7, 2026, a violent incident occurred at Debsirin Nonthaburi School in the Bang Kruai district of Nonthaburi province. According to reports from Khaosod Online, a male student in the third year of middle school (Matthayom 3) initiated a shooting within the school premises, leading to fatalities and injuries among both students and teachers.
The Wattana Nonthaburi Center (Por Teck Tung Foundation) has released preliminary information regarding the victims. Among those identified, 14-year-old Patchada Yimruang has been confirmed deceased. Several other students, including 14-year-olds Phatsa Saingam and Suppapong Butchati, as well as 12-year-old Nattakrita Thawsom, are currently receiving medical treatment for serious injuries at local hospitals, including Bang Kruai Hospital and Bang Bua Thong Hospital. Other students, such as Kitimakorn Somnoi, also sustained injuries.
