Bhumjaithai MP Addresses Allegations of Local Government Exam Corruption
Asaphon Santhueang, a Bhumjaithai Party MP, has responded to claims linking party leader Anutin Charnvirakul to local government exam irregularities, asserting that such practices have existed since 2019.

Asaphon countered these claims by stating that corrupt practices involving the exchange of money for positions—specifically citing reports of 500,000 to 800,000 baht in Sisaket province—have been ongoing since 2019–2021.
Asaphon has urged the Department of Local Administration (DLA) to coordinate with five relevant agencies to investigate 5,925 individuals involved in these processes to identify the true beneficiaries of the alleged scheme. Furthermore, he announced that the Bhumjaithai Party intends to propose legislative amendments aimed at closing loopholes that currently hinder the prosecution of corruption across all government units.
