Former Police Officer 'Johnny Mueprab' Launches Muay Thai Gym in Ubon Ratchathani

According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, Yutthaphon Srisompong—a former police officer widely known as 'Johnny Mueprab'—has officially entered the professional boxing industry. He has successfully registered his new facility, 'Johnny Muay Thai Gym,' with the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT).

To lead the training program, Yutthaphon has enlisted Amnat Ruenroeng, a former Thai national team boxer and world champion, to serve as the head trainer. Yutthaphon visited the Ubon Ratchathani provincial office of the SAT to finalize the registration of the gym, secure an official C-license for Amnat Ruenroeng, and register himself as a boxing promoter.

For residents and visitors in Ubon Ratchathani, this development signals a new hub for combat sports training and potential local competition. Yutthaphon stated that his primary goal is to promote Muay Thai among local youth and provide a pathway for aspiring fighters to reach the world championship level.
