On August 6, 2026, Carabao Group officially launched the 'Carabao 7-a-Side Cup 2026' at the Football Super Star Arena. According to Khaosod Online Thailand, this marks the fifth consecutive year the company has hosted the tournament, which aims to provide amateur football enthusiasts with a platform to showcase their skills.
Kamoldist Smuthkochorn, Deputy Managing Director of Carabao Group, stated that the competition is designed under the 'Local Pride' concept to foster community engagement across various regions. The tournament will utilize 16 partner football fields as regional hubs to identify representatives for the national championship. The ultimate prize for the winners includes an opportunity to experience a professional football match in England, specifically at Wembley Stadium.
