Meanwhile, the Ministry of Interior and the Department of Provincial Administration are tracing access logs, confirming that the core civil registration database remains secure. The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) has been tasked with auditing the information systems of approximately 300 government departments within 30 days and is pushing for the mandatory implementation of multi-factor authentication.
