A victim has filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau against a police officer accused of forcing her to film explicit material for private distribution.
According to a report by Thai Post on August 5, 2026, a victim has sought assistance from the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB) regarding allegations of severe misconduct by a police officer. Accompanied by Dr. Thanakrit Jittareerat, the victim reported that Police Senior Sergeant Major Thanawut Phatthana, a 45-year-old investigator at Thung Lung Police Station, allegedly coerced her into filming explicit content intended for sale in private online groups.
The victim has provided documentation to Police Colonel Kookiat Wongphan, Superintendent of Sub-division 2, CCIB 5, requesting that authorities take immediate action to prevent the further dissemination of these clips.
