Bangkok Art Biennale 2026: Contemporary Art Across Bangkok
A major contemporary art event featuring international and Thai artists across various Bangkok venues, including temples, museums, and public spaces.
The Bangkok Art Biennale (BAB) 2026, themed 'Angels and Mara', transforms the city into a vast gallery. Installations are placed in diverse locations including Wat Arun, Wat Pho, Wat Prayoon, the BACC, Museum Siam, the National Museum Bangkok, One Bangkok, CentralWorld, Siam Paragon, and the Silpakorn University Art Centre. The event explores themes of social commentary, environmental issues, and the intersection of tradition and modernity. Visitors are encouraged to use the Chao Phraya Express Boat to navigate between riverside venues. Please note that temple venues maintain strict dress codes requiring covered shoulders and knees.
