Vietnamese Mother Gives Birth on Motorcycle En Route to Hospital

According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, a 25-year-old Vietnamese woman, approximately 32 weeks pregnant, gave birth to a baby boy while riding on a motorcycle with her husband on August 3. The couple was en route to the Phuc Luong Hospital in Thai Nguyen province when the unexpected delivery occurred.

Online footage captured the immediate aftermath, showing the mother being assisted by bystanders as she dismounted the vehicle with the newborn still attached by the umbilical cord. Medical personnel arrived shortly thereafter to provide emergency care, including warming the infant and cutting the cord, before transporting both to the hospital for further observation. The newborn, weighing approximately 2 kilograms, is reported to be in stable condition, and both mother and child are currently healthy.
