Origin Property Sells Staybridge Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit

According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI) has successfully completed the sale of the Staybridge Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit hotel. The property was acquired by the Sawat-Somphob family, who are known for managing the Sino-Pacific Trading group, a major importer and distributor of consumer goods. The transaction was valued at approximately 550 million baht.

Peerapong Jaroon-ek, CEO of Origin Property, stated that this divestment aligns with the company’s 'Build – Operate – Exit – Reinvestment' strategy. By rotating its asset portfolio, the company aims to generate cash flow to fund new developments, including further expansion into the hotel, office building, and commercial sectors. The company intends to use these proceeds to support long-term growth and provide returns to shareholders and business partners.

For residents and travelers, this change in ownership marks a shift in the management structure of the hotel, though the property continues to operate under the Staybridge Suites brand.
