State Railway of Thailand Launches 'SRT Express One Price' for Small Parcels

The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has officially launched 'SRT Express One Price,' a new logistics service designed to streamline parcel delivery across the country. According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the service offers a flat-rate pricing structure to help individuals and online business owners better manage their shipping expenses.

Under this new initiative, shipping items along the same rail line costs 70 baht per piece, while deliveries crossing between different lines are priced at 100 baht per piece. The service is specifically tailored for small parcels and urgent packages weighing no more than 2 kilograms, with dimensions not exceeding 50 x 50 x 50 centimeters. This makes it a viable option for sending documents, clothing, personal items, or small e-commerce goods.

For residents and travelers, this service provides a predictable cost structure that eliminates the need to calculate fees based on distance. By offering a 'one price' model, the SRT aims to provide a secure and cost-effective alternative for domestic logistics.
